At EDSI, we have learned that communications and accountability are the greatest problems facing organizations today. By gaining an awareness and understanding of behaviors, these skills and all other competencies can be successfully enhanced. The most important skill sets for productive employees, trustworthy managers, and credible leaders, are found in the course Increasing Personal Effectiveness®.

Training and development are generally linked with the terms employee development, workforce engagement, or talent management. Effective training programs lead to lower turnover, increased profits, higher productivity, competitive advantage in the marketplace, greater innovation, world-class customer service, or a reduction in workplace conflict. Much rhetoric has been devoted to “our employees are our greatest asset,”  but only in those organizations that provide employee training and development on a continuous basis is this a realistic and true statement. There are many facets of employee development that include communication skills, awareness, ethics, and accountability, as well as on-the-job skills.
